UPSC invites for the online application to recruitment to the Indian Forest Service exam will commence from the 14th July 2020. The examination will be held across India. Candidates admitted to the examination will be informed of the time table and place or places of examination. The candidates should note that no request for change of centre would be granted.
Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. A candidate must be the citizen of India, A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1 August 2020. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry &Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities in India.
Candidates who have appeared at an examination, the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Commission’s examination. But have not been informed of the results as also the candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination will also eligible for admission to this examination. Every candidate appearing at the examination shall be permitted four attempts at the examination. Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Indian Forest Service Examination, 2020.
Candidates applying are required to pay a fee by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI. But Female/SC/ST/PH candidates exempted from payment of the fee.
Candidates are requested to keep ready the attested copies of
1. Certificate of age.
2. Certificate of educational qualification.
3. Certificate in support of the claim to belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes/ Physically Disabled, where applicable.
4. Certificate in support of the claim for age/fee concession, where applicable.
Immediately after the declaration of the result of the written part of the examination, successful candidates may be intimated by the Commission electronically and they shall ask to submit Detailed Application Form (DAF) online. The successful candidates have to send the printout of this DAF with each page duly signed along with the attested copies of the above mentioned certificates to the Commission at that time. Originals will have to produce at the time of interview. The interview letter to the candidates may also issue electronically.
How to apply the Indian Forest Service Examination:
Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in. The last date of submission of applications is 14th May 2020 till 11.59 PM, after which the link will be disabled.
The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admission Certificate will make available in the UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in for downloading by candidates. All the applicants are required to provide valid active E-Mail I.D. while filling up Online Application.
