AP TERT, single Teacher recruitment Test is Solution or trouble riser? The exercise of DSC 2020 was in the final stage, the AP government is struggling to make a decision on conducting DSC written test mode. The Government has put a Committee to get recommendations on DSC 2020 exam and the Committee report will available in a few days.
The big question in front of AP Government is how to conduct DSC? Two options in front of government one follow the old recruitment process with TET and DSC. This move needs to conduct TET exam continuously twice in a year for import TET eligible candidates to DSC recruitments.
The second option is conducting one single exam in place of TET and DSC, in name TRT. But this move rice more problems than others. Already 3.8 lakhs candidates got eligibility on previous TETs; they have seven-year validity of TET certificates and 20% weightage in DSC score. If they will move to court, all process caught in trouble, that definitely slow down the whole process.
The rationalization and Teachers transfers are concluding in a week time, which will give a final picture of current teacher vacancies. As per information available up to now, more than 23000 teacher posts will go to fill in DSC 2020.
School education department finds 13000 teacher post vacancies in the state already and another 10000 posts in Rajeev Vidya Mission. In RVM teacher posts more than 95 per cent only SGT posts, this is really good news Diploma holder’s in the state.
What is Tert Teacher recruitment in AP?
At first, the government decided to conduct Teacher eligibility and selection test (Test) in place of TET and DCS. But under the recommendation of the Committee, the teacher eligibility recruitment test (TERT) with TET and DSC syllabi with a 100% score and posting depends on the merit list.
We are expecting TERT paper with two parts, 1st part with TET syllabi and 2nd part with the subject. 2 part exam performed on the same day. The candidates, who got the minimum qualifying marks in Part 1 is only getting eligibility to evaluate Part -2.
