Reports from different sources and a confirmation from the Telecom secretary Aruna Sundararajan. Says JIO will have a big transition from 4G to 5G. The process is said to take a period of 6 months of the spectrum. This is good news to the citizens as the government has plans to support the transition by giving airwaves which support the 5G. It is said the JIO 5G is much faster than the 4G where reports claim it might be 50-60 time faster.
The launch will take up a period of 180 days which is 6 months from now. However, the 5G bands will be officially launched if a formal proposal is given by the sector regulator. This launch also gives a clear prediction of Mukesh Ambani launching their services in the Indian country by 2020. 01st September 2016 onwards jio offers jaw-dropping tariff plans for Jiofi router. Jiofi users can modify the Jiofi Password Change or Jiofi Username Change in jiofi.local.html/index.htm or 192.168.1.1 website.
Telco also will start fibre optic services thus boosting the 5G internet service. There are greater plans of JIO conjoining with Bharti Airtel and coming up with multiple-input and multiple out plus network function virtualization. This will assist them in placing the 5G network ready.
This band is expected to be more effective than past networks. It is said the JIO 5G network will work better than the transition of 3G to 4G. However, a challenge may arise since the JIO Reliance Company has not come up with a gadget to support the 5G network. One needs to have routers and other supportive devices until something is done. Nonetheless, some companies are working tirelessly to invent 5G modems which will assist in internet distribution. This will be effective before the 180 days are over. The reliance companies also will produce a device which will support the 5G before the full time of implementation which is 2019 -2020.
Indian telecommunication department has requested the JIO and other broadband providers to help in assessing the pilot program. The trial program is free for all users, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has taken the initiative of recommending 3300MHZ -3600MHZ range for the 5G network service. The JIO Reliance company secretary will also pass an important address to the ET Telecom. Remember the regulatory is the one to give the go-ahead and so far so good. With a follow up the Regulatory Authority had given several guidelines in the month of August. The ranges were different until the now settles range of 3300MHZ-3600MHZ.
JIO being in the market for long, they won’t feel the pinch of getting the 5G up and starting. Some of the new broadband providers take long and some don’t even make it. For the 5G network, the process will be easier since JIO is a well known band. It has a lot of IP and already spread all over the country.
This seems to be the next big thing in the coming year. The government has really supported the launch by standing with a group from Stanford University. The group had the thought of opening 5G millimetre bands. However, the broadband cannot be used in a large area. In the said time the JIO reliance will come up with better plans and cover the whole area.
