Excise Constables applicants have to attend three stages of tests to become Constables in Prohibition & Excise Department. In those first one Preliminary Qualifying Test. Hall Ticket for PQT (Excise Constables Preliminary Qualifying Test) can be downloaded from 11:30 AM on 20th Nov 2018 onwards at http://slprb.ap.gov.in.
The Excise Constables Preliminary Qualifying Test- PQT constitutes a ‘run’ of 4 km for male candidates and 2 km for female candidates. The men have to complete the 4 km run within 20 minutes and the women have to complete the 2 km run within 13 minutes. Since PQT is a qualifying test only, no marks will be awarded. The candidates qualified in PQT will be acknowledged with a date, time and venue to appear for PET.
Physical Efficiency Test and Written test follows in the next 2 stages. PET constitutes two levels of scrutiny and five events of physical tests. The candidates who qualify in the Excise Constables Physical Efficiency Test will have to appear for a Written Test, which will consist of 100 objective questions to be answered in 2 hours.
