JEE 2020 counselling, Online Registration and choice filling start from 16th June. This year,30 NITs, 5 IIITs, IIITM, IIITDM, 13 Central Government funded institutions and 46 Self Financed Institutes will admit candidates on the basis of their rank in JEE-2020, to the 1st year of Engineering programmes through centralized counselling, for the academic session 2020-19.

The entire JEE 2020 admission process consists of four steps
Step 1. JEE Online registration, candidates eligible for central counselling should register themselves for online counselling. It’s on the CCB website from June 16 to 25, 2020 from places convenient to them. Spot Round registrations can be done during August 3 – 6, 2020.
Step 2. JEE Online choice filling and locking of choices. After JEE Online registration, candidates will be able to exercise their choices on the CCB website using the Internet during June 16 – 25, 2020.
Step 3. Online JEE Seat Allotment and personally reporting to a Reporting Center, Candidates will be offered seats based on their choices. It’s in the order of merit in JEE All India Rank over multiple rounds of allotment. Candidates who are allotted a seat will report to any one of the ‘Reporting Centers’ during the time frames specified. Get the documents verified and pay the initial fee to mark their acceptance of the offer of a seat.
Step 4. Getting Admitted to Allotted Institute, Candidates are required to be physically present at the Institute where the candidate is getting admitted. After verification of all original documents as per the procedure of the allotted institute.
JEE 2020 Spot Admission
For the seats left vacant after the four rounds of the counselling process, there shall be spot admission. When intending candidates are required to be physically present at a Reporting Center, register, fill up fresh choices, pay fees and if offered a seat, be admitted.
All eligible candidates will register and fill their choices online during June 16 – 25, 2020 on the CCB website www.ccb.nic.in. Candidate can use internet facility from any place, Candidates should lock the choices during June 22 – 25, 2020. Locking facility will enable only after June 22, 2020.
JEE Indicative seat availability will display at frequent intervals on the CCB website during June 16 – 25, 2020 as per their All India Rank. All the candidates must lock their final choices before 5.00 PM on June 25, 2020. If candidates fail to explicitly lock their choices by 5.00 PM of June 25, 2020, their last saved choices will automatically lock after this deadline.
Eligible candidates who did not register during June 16 – 25, 2020 are permitted to do fresh registration and choice filling for the fourth round.

- The JEE Third Round of Allotment on July 12, 2020.
- Fresh Registration and Choice Filling for Candidates who did not register during June 16 – 25, 2020
- JEE Fourth Round of Allotment on July 25, 2020.
