The Andhra Pradesh government will conduct a ‘Smart Pulse Survey’ for collecting socio-economic data of 1.48 crore households in the state from Nov 8th 2019. Initially, the survey was supposed to begin on Oct 20, but was put off as training of the Survey personnel was not completed in time. The first phase of the survey will commence on Nov 8 with enumerators collecting details of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YSJ Reddy at his residence at Vijayawada.
The AP Government is decided to conduct the survey to determine the socio-economic status and collect all other relevant details of each household in AP. The first phase of the Andhra Pradesh Smart Pulse Survey was supposed to begin on Oct 20, but was put off as training of the personnel was not completed in time. Revenue and civic staff would go round the houses and collect the data 14 houses per day.

All citizens could provide their 20 different details over the Internet as well. The peoples Aadhaar database does not reflect the socio-economic data such as caste, community education, income and livelihood details of a citizen, the smart pulse survey is planned to fill in the gaps related to socio-economic details. New schemes like Ammavodi, JVD and Finacial assistance programmes to poor people enumerate within the survey.

The objective of the scheme is to financially empower Kapu women above 45 years of age by enhancing their livelihood opportunities and living standards with the financial assistance of Rs.75,000/-at the rate of Rs.15,000/- per annum.
Women belonging to the Kapu community and aged between 45 to 60 years are eligible.
Total family income should be less than Rs. 10,000 per month in rural areas and Rs. 12,000/- per month in urban areas.
Total land holding of the family should be less than 3 acres of wetland or 10 acres of dry land or 10 acres of both wet and dry land together.
No family member should be Government employee or pensioner
The family should not own 4 wheeler (Taxi, Auto, Tractors Exempted)
No family member should pay income tax.
In urban areas family who owns no property or less than 750 ft built-up areas.
Grama volunteers will receive the application from beneficiaries or contact nearest Grama Ward Sachivalayam.
