AP government fixes engineering college course fee on college quality basis. AP government announces the engineering fees to the 2013-14 academic year on 06-07-2013 at GO ms no 57. The AP state government issued orders notifying the fee structure for 629 engineering colleges based on the recommendations submitted by the Admissions and Fee Regulatory Committee –AFRC, AP.
The fee for engineering courses in 195 engineering colleges across the AP has been revised to Rs 30,000 per annum from Rs 35,000 last year.Rs 35,000 fee was fixed for 258 engineering colleges. 176 colleges could secure the fees of over Rs 35,000 to 1.13 Lakhs. 19 colleges have not fixed fees no place in this year Eamcet admission counselling.
This will be the common fee for both Convener quota and management quota seats. CBIT-Gandipet (Rs 113300) and Vasavi – Ibrahimpatnam (Rs 109300) touch high fee this year. The fees for second year students in 68 engineering colleges have also been reduced.

AP Engineering Admissions notification will release in this week, dialogs between college managements and government in conclusion stage, Majority of the private engineering college managements agreed to settle for a fee structure of Rs 35,000. The managements have also asked the government not to introduce online counselling for their management quota seats. The government, however, is adamant that the fee be fixed at Rs 35,000. Minority college managements stated that Muslim students should be included under the purview of the fee reimbursement scheme.
As per GO ms no 57, The Andhra Pradesh Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC) for Professional Courses offered in Private Un-aided Professional Institutions Rules, 2006 – Fixation of Fee structure for Under- Graduate Engineering courses.The following tuition fee for both A & B categories is fixed for the year 2012-13 in respect of institutions whose proposals have been evaluated based on the details / figures furnished by them to AFRC with regard to implementation of revised pay scales.Rest of college fee is 35000 only.
